Jesus is coming to earth again. He has provided everything we need to be ready to meet Him. Your robes of righteousness have been purchased by Christ when He died for you on Calvary. All you need to do is accept them and put them on. You do this when you place your trust in Christ's death for you on the cross. This brings assurance of eternal life in heaven and will prepare you to meet Him. Here is the gospel message that each must believe in order to be ready for His coming:

1.  GOD is loving, holy and just.

God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him. 1John 4:16

But like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living; because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.  1 Peter 1:15-16

...The righteous judgment of God; who will render to every man according to his works.  Romans 2:5-6

2. MAN is sinful and deserving death. He is separated from God and helpless to save himself.

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 6:23

...All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6

For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, (it is) the gift of God.  Ephesians 2:8

3.  CHRIST is God and became a man. He died on the cross to take our sins on Him and provide forgiveness as a gift.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.   John 1:1, 14

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God. 1 Peter 3:18

Him who knew no sin he made (to be) sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.  2 Corinthians 5:21

For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, (it is) the gift of God; not of works, that no man should glory.  Ephesians 2:8-9

4.  You must recognize your need as a sinner and accept the gift of forgiveness. Then ask Him to come into your life as your Lord.

But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, (even) to them that believe on his name.  John 1:12

He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.  John 3:36

because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus (as) Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.  Romans 10:9-11

If you intelligently pray this prayer from your heart, you will be ready to meet Him.

Lord Jesus, I am sorry that I have been going my own way instead of your way. I have sinned and my sins have separated me from your Holy presence so that I am helpless to commend myself to You. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins, bearing them in Your own body and suffering in my place the condemnation I deserved. Thank you for dying to take away my sin. I sincerely turn away from my past sins and surrender to You as my Lord and Master. Please come into my life and make me the person you want me to be. Amen.
