Ever since Jesus left the earth from Jerusalem, people have been looking for His return. It is a glorious hope backed by many promises. Christians have spent much energy trying to read the signs of the times in order to understand when He will come. Although the Bible tells us what to look for, it clearly states that no one will be able to predict the day or the hour. Instead we are to focus on preparing ourselves and others for that day. We can look for and eagerly await the glorious return of King Jesus. He is both coming to catch his bride away through translation and to reign on earth as King.
Luke 21:36—But watch ye at every season, making supplication, that ye may prevail to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
